"CRIME SCENE CLEANERS"

By Chuck Wilson - LA WEEKLY

“On any suicide, there’s always gonna be three things at the house:  There’s gonna be a gun or knife, liquor, and there’s always porno.”  The man talking is Neal Smither, subject of David J. Sperling’s gruesome, amusing documentary, Crime Scene Cleaners.  Smither was inspired by a shot of oozing brain matter in Pulp Fiction to start his own gore-removal company, an enterprise that as Sperling makes clear, looks to have unlimited growth potential in a trigger-happy America.
