The 2007 Boulder International Film Festival came to a rousing
conclusion. Whether they could make it to the screening or not, "DRUNK IN PUBLIC" seemed to be one
of the films on everyone's list.
The many parties provided numerous opportunities
to discuss the film and share behind the scenes stories of the 12 year production... Snow began to fall as "DRUNK
IN PUBLIC" was successfully launched before an admirably-sized audience. Nearly everyone stayed for a thought-provoking Q&A.
I was invited to be a part of an equally well attended FILMMAKER'S PANEL. We had a great time providing
insight, inspiration and insanity. "DRUNK IN PUBLIC" was fortunate enough to take home the "BEST
EDITING" award. I am profoundly grateful to Robin Beeck, the film festival selection comittee, staff, volunteers, audiences
and judges for putting together such a satisfying event.

12 years in the making, the documentary feature-length
version of "DRUNK IN PUBLIC" finally debuted and screened today at the Historic Lido Theatre in the 2006 Newport
Beach Film Festival.
It was very well attended with close to 400 people showing up at NOON on a Thursday.
The crowd was very receptive and fully involved in the Q&A which in it's entirety lasted hours after the
screening and concluded the parking lot. I was touched by the impact the film had on the audience.
The crowd's response affirmed and supported this meaningful project. I am honored and grateful to
the audience for the unbridled feelings, stories, experiences and thoughts they so generously shared with me.
